Hi, I’m Amanda Grillo.
I’m a multidisciplinary creative and educator working across graphic design, photography, theatre, and writing—guided by curiosity, collaboration, and a love of visual storytelling.
I create under the belief that artistry doesn’t need to choose a single lane. It can flutter between mediums and chirp in different voices, finding meaning in movement, learning, and shared creative spaces.
My design work spans book covers, album and EP artwork, theatrical materials, and digital content for social platforms. In photography, I focus on fine art, portraits, and event coverage through my project Vivid & Vibrant Photography, where color, emotion, and connection take center stage.
Theatre is the foundation of my creative life. After being immersed in the arts since junior high, I earned a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of New Haven and later served as a founding board member of the former Connecticut Compass Theatre Company. I’ve worked as a performer, designer, director, and writer, with published pieces appearing on BroadwayWorld and OnStageBlog.
Alongside my creative work, I am deeply invested in education. Teaching has shaped how I approach storytelling, collaboration, and accessibility in the arts. Whether guiding students, mentoring creatives, or designing with pedagogy in mind, education informs how I create and how I connect.
Flutter & Chirp is a home for that evolution—a place where artistry, learning, and creativity move freely across disciplines, and where collaboration is always welcome.
